We ship your order 24-48 hours after its placed. If you need help modifying or canceling your order, please immediately reach out to our Customer Care team with your order number. We will resolve it as quickly as possible. Please note that if your order has already shipped, changes or cancellation are not possible.

Currently we ship within continental USA and Canada. If you live in Europe, you can place an order on https://www.crescentgarden.de/ For placing orders outside of this area, please reach out to our Customer Care and we will connect you to a nearby garden center.

We ship your order within 48 business hours via FedEx Ground and other premium carriers to provide you with the fastest and most reliable service available.

Orders over $49 ship free! All other orders ship for a flat rate.

If your order is shipping via FedEx or UPS, your order will be left at your doorstep or mail room and you do not need to sign for it. However, if your order contains an oversized item and will arrive by truck, you have to be present to approve and sign for the receipt of the items. Depending on your banking institution, your refund will be credited back to your original payment method(s) in 3 to 5 business days after the returned item is received and inspected at our warehouse.

Our innovative self watering Crescent Garden TruDrop system provides phenomenal results both indoors and outdoors. You can choose between our unibody TruDrop One planters that include a built-in overflow drain at the bottom and a main drain to empty the water cavity, OR our TruDrop Flex planters that come with a separate insert for flexibility in use and the option to change color or style of planter in a whim. In addition, we offer our HF planters that come with a traditional self-watering system working well in indoor or outdoor covered areas. Our HF planters are available in beautiful metal, wood and leather finishes.

You can always have fun and be creative with any planter using paint but we highly recommend you select a primer and paint that will work well with our materials. Our suggestion is to always visit your local paint store for recommendations. Our recycle logo on the bottom of the product will identify the material of your planter. Please note that on our Crescent Garden rotomold planters our warranty covers fading of its original hue. By choosing to paint your planter you will be waiving that aspect of the warranty.

Our Bleeker, Bowery and Tall Daniel planters all include a great feature to make them heavier when placing in windy areas. Just turn them over, remove red cap, use a funnel to fill with sand. Here is a quick video.

If you are using outdoors where your HF planter will be exposed to rain, you want to make sure to incorporate an overflow drain before you get started. Here is a guide on how to get this done.

Storing your TruDrop One planters during winter is easy. Empty your container, clean it well, release the main drain especially if leaving outdoors. You can also remove and store your indicator indoors for better longevity. Here is a quick video with detailed cleaning and preparation tips.

Water level indicators can shift during shipping. If your blue indicators are not coming up as you fill the container follow the steps below:
1. If using outdoors make sure you have removed the red plug to drain out excess water. Indicator should not show full until water is coming out through overflow drain.
2. When water is flowing through overflow and indicator is not showing full then go ahead and remove indicator from its shaft. (Wedging a small coin under edge of clear cap can be helpful.)
3. Turn your indicator upside down and make sure all blue tabs show at the top. Then indicator can be tested in a large bucket of water by submerging the gauge in the bucket and pulling it out a few times. When indicator is submerged blue tabs should be moving to the top, as you lift up the indicator they should disappear.
4. Once tested, return indicator to container and it should reflect correctly.

When we design our products, we consider the full lifecycle from manufacturing to disposal to offer environmentally friendly products.
In our plant: Our manufacturing is always held to high standards and efficient use of energy with little or no byproducts.
In distribution: Because our products are lightweight and unbreakable, we use less packaging and ship with less energy use.
In use: TruDrop self-watering uses less water and fertilizers than traditional containers. Our 10 year warranty shows we are interested in longevity so our products don’t need to be replaced for a long time. Our timeless designs take this into consideration as well.
In disposal: All of our materials are 100% recyclable to facilitate eventual disposal.

Our TruDrop self-watering system is designed to water roots from the bottom instead of top watering. This avoids fungus and mold from accumulating on the surface keeping folliage healthier. Yes, tomatoes love growing in the Trudrop planters because of the consistent watering. For an 18″ Pot, we would recommend growing tomato varieties that stay short such as a Bush Earl Girl, Celebrity, Tiny Treats or Bush Goliath – any variety that stays under 3 feet tall. Here’s a great informational link from Bonnie Plants on tomato varieties available in the U.S. Speak to your local grower or garden center to find the correct variety for you.

Ocassionally debris or roots can reach overtime into your overflow drain. If your planter is empty just turn it around and use a wire hanger or skewer to penetrate the overflow, (see video). If planted, empty your water cavity first by releasing the main drain on your planter. Then find a handy helper to elevate your planter so you can do the same.

To insert your white drain plug first use Teflon tape along the threads. This will ensure a tight seal. Next position the plug, carefully lining the threads, and twist in. Finally, use an adjustable wrench to seal. Watch this video for a quick demonstration.

Install our new TruDrop One gray push drain plug with ease, no tools required. Simply place the rubber insert in first. Then push in drain plug until sealed tightly. Watch this quick video for a demonstration.

Our TruDrop planters are highly adaptable for your indoor needs. If you wish to move your planter indoors simply screw in your red plug. Be sure to align the threads carefully, and twist in smoothly until tightly sealed. Use a coin to further tighten. Watch this quick video for a demonstration.

Crescent Garden’s HF planters is an exclusive collection of self-watering planters for indoor residential/commercial use, and for selected styles, outdoor use in covered areas. Different to our TruDrop One planters, the HF planters have a more traditional self-watering system with a small reservoir and come with volcanic rock and wicks for drainage. These planters are designed and manufactured in Spain and are available in a variety of metal, leather and wood finishes that makes them unique. For more details on HF planters click here.

Never go too small is our rule of thumb; planters should be proportionate to the architecture of a room, and should also give your plant room for growth so using a bigger container than the original growing container is the key. Learn more about selecting sizes in this video.
